“Year after year, the Magic Sailing Team continues to give us all a lesson in what it means to manage a Sailing Team professionally, in particular a team whose objective is to enhance its own image through results… to mention just the obvious. The three victories totalled at the Barcolana races show just how essential it is to have a good all-round organization if certain results and aims are to be achieved.
The Team, along with its organization, is not one to stagnate, and always welcomes a new challenge: it took part in the Centomiglia race on Lake Garda, subsequently competing in the UFO one-design regatta. It is now entering the competitive arena of the Mumm 30 one-design class, taking part in the Italian Audi circuit and World Championships. It is not neglecting its commitments with Shining either, the 75’ Frers Open, which competes in a type of race that is the complete opposite to the one-design classes, and which never fails to draw new emotions. The future is likely to have other new adventures in store: the Magic Sailing Team is ready and willing to take the plunge. My thanks go to all the men in the crew, the real winners of our important challenges, and all the partners who have placed their trust in us and will continue to do so into the future”.
